$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ I have been building my position in AMD (already have large position in NVDA) as I see 4 things working in AMDs favor over the next six months. 1. The slow/negative growth aspects of AMDs business are meaningless now. But the high growth areas are going to really grow top/bottom lines. 2. I think NVDA is forced to make their software apps 100% compatible with AMD hardware, and that is really the main ace in the hole NVDA has. BTW, I do not see this as being terribly negative for NVDA, but extremely positive for AMD. 3. I believe by next year AMD will be competing very closely with NVDA on raw performance. The gap will be closed. 4. I see no reason given the above that NVDA has a 13x market cap relative to AMD. Something has to give.
