NASDAQ is NOT an inflation hedge. NASDAQ’s profile is of a low-yielding, growth-oriented index, of implicitly long duration. That means it is sensitive to interest rates. Inflation, of course, is directly factored into interest rates. So the more inflation and rates rise, the greater the risk in NASDAQ. I doubt investors think otherwise.
