$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Companies shed underperforming businesses all the time. To think that laying off 300 employees would cause the sell off that it had is pretty funny. My observation is this: even though sales might have been lower after the Covid pandemic was over, customers developed new habits (30 times rule), and like the convenience that Amazon offers with better selection, stock supply, and prices than traditional stores is now an established routine
