Is AMD less promising than Intel?

With the kind of YoY growth AMD is having for AI datacenters, investors need to make up their minds and be rationale that AMD’s earnings really aren’t as bad as what they think.

More optimism is needed for AMD. The unbelievable growth that SMCI used to promise, we all can see how it all plunges down now. Intel is akin to ford, there is just no comeback in this race.

2nd place symptoms:

- In search, Only Google. There is no 2nd company.

- In consumer phone, Only Apple in US. There is no 2nd place within US.

- In E-commerce marketplace, only Amazon in US. There is no 2nd place within US.

- In EV, only Tesla, There is no 2nd place within US. Rivian and Lucid revenues aren't fit for 2nd place.

Investors need to realistically know that AMD is already doing great as a 2nd place in this industry when there aren't any 2nd place companies in most US industries. You can't be setting the same target for AMD by using NVDA as a targetboard.

AMD really isn’t that bad if you really think about it.

AMD Guidance Misses: Will it Hit $130 This Time?
AMD's Q3 revenue grew by 18% year-over-year to $6.82 billion, surpassing market expectations of $6.71 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.92, in line with market expectations. However, the Q4 guidance fell short of expectations, dampening the enthusiasm surrounding AI chip demand. -------------------- What's your target price? Would you bottom AMD at $150 or lower prices? Will AMD drop to $130?
