馬斯克開放特斯拉電動汽車和Space X火箭技術的專利的目的是什麼呢？
1.馬斯克自己親口說的:爲了移民火星，爲了使人類成爲多行星物種，爲了促進環境保護，不申請專利是爲了促進科技進步等等宏大高尚的目標。不得不說馬斯克的格局的確夠大和超前，具有前瞻性，這是我們中國企業家所缺乏的胸懷和理想。所以說馬斯克不愧爲地球之光。
2.從馬斯克私心這點來說，他開放專利，是促進電動汽車產業和民營航天產業的發展，特別是中國企業這些善於抄作業的公司，一鍋蜂地上，更加促進這些產業的大發展。電動產業和民營航天產業在中國高速發展，特斯拉和Space X作爲這兩個產業的領頭羊，自然成爲這些產業的最大受益者，做爲吃肉者，中國企業只能喝湯。
所以無論從道德和經濟上說，馬斯克都是最大的贏家，一個格局遠大，具有工程師氣質的商業奇才。
特斯拉和Space X這兩家公司還有很大潛力，等川普上臺後，困住這兩家公司的枷鎖將會打開，又會有一大波的快速增長。
