People don't understand the difference of shares issued at IPO in the market and those outside the market.  

For valuation, you look at total number of shares

For trading on exchanges, you look at available shares - hence option calls/puts and long/ shorting can occur.

For the issuing of shares to raise money, this means the buyer sees upside from the strike price or else no rational person will buy.  If the transaction is large, expect the banker to protect the buyer or else no one in the market will work with the banker again (in normal circumstances excluding black swan events) 

So go long, not on margin with $$$ u can afford to lose and mid to long term should see profit.
