$TENCENT(00700)$
Is it really performing poorly?
Looking at its performance this year, Tencent indeed hasn’t matched Meituan or Xiaomi, but it’s far from poor.
There’s no need to dwell on its rise to 480 HKD during the National Day holiday and subsequent fluctuations around 430 HKD. After all, trading wasn’t even open during the holiday—no need to cling to paper gains.
Tencent’s Q3 report is coming out next week. It won’t be too late to watch the stock’s movement then!
