$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ I’ve been thinking a lot about the battery swapping business, and honestly, it’s a pretty solid idea. Yeah, the initial investment is hefty, but when you break it down, it’s like gas stations for electric cars—think about it. The stations themselves are like a convenience that every EV owner will need at some point, and it’s not just about the swaps; it’s about the whole infrastructure. The cool thing is, the companies setting up these stations can make money on both sides. First, they make money from the EV owners who need a quick swap. But they also have the opportunity to make money by selling the batteries, which could be a big deal in itself. It’s basically the same business model gas stations use—except now it’s for electric vehicles, and the demand is only going to grow.
