On 16 May 2023, PM-in-waiting Lawrence Wong visited NIO's manufacturing plant and extended NIO EV to be sold in Singapore. It's been more than a year, NIO is still dragging its feet - what is it waiting for ? US is a no go now, EU's tariffs are sky high ? And NIO CEO thinks Singaporean cannot afford its EVs ? There's simply no urgency in NIO's C-suite...on the surface...//
