As of November 2024, MicroStrategy holds the largest amount of Bitcoin among publicly traded companies, with approximately 331,200 BTC, valued at around $30 billion. This significant accumulation reflects MicroStrategy’s strategic decision to adopt Bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset, a move initiated in 2020 under the leadership of Executive Chairman Michael Saylor.
Other notable corporate Bitcoin holders include:
• Grayscale Bitcoin Trust: Manages one of the largest Bitcoin funds, holding about 643,572 BTC, which accounts for approximately 3% of all Bitcoin currently available.

• Tesla: Holds approximately 10,725 BTC, valued at about $1 billion, following its $1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin announced in early 2021.
These holdings underscore the growing trend of corporations integrating Bitcoin into their financial strategies, reflecting a broader acceptance of cryptocurrency in the corporate sector.
