    Paying withholding tax on dividend yield for US stocks lessens the appeal even if the payout is good. I prefer to buy stocks which fluctuate more to earn on the upswing and best of all, no tax! ?

      yes...! can consider sg reits instead. but the yield might be lesser and wait longer...?
