Intel CEO Gelsinger Retires
Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has retired from the chip maker and stepped down from the board, effective Dec. 1. Intel has named David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus as interim co-chief executive officers while the board begins a search for a new CEO. Intel stock gained 5% to $25.25 in premarket trading. Shares of chipmaker Intel Corp jumped nearly 6% to $25.48 premarket.
