There will be no subsidy under Trump, so the price will be $37,500 or slightly less.
In the meantime, Renault, Citroen and several other companies are launching small and affordable EVs at EUR 25,000 without subsidy.
Renault 5 is already a huge success in its first month of sale in France. Ford Puma, the most sold car in the UK is now available as a EV as well.
Not even talking about all the Chinese models that will give any Tesla a hard day price wise. Like in Ocotover, Tesla sales in China have been 5% down vs YTD, despite the biggest discounts and price reductions ever given by Tesla.
Tesla won't be able to compete and their margins will give in with all those discounts offered to desperately sell in Q4.
No one even wants their Cybertruck despite a $20k price reduction, that's why they already had to give their factory workers 3 days off as inventories are piling up.
Tesla Semi? Where are they? Customer still waiting for them.
In the meantime it's clear that Tesla's are the most dangerous and deadly cars in the world, as shown by independent studies. It's a combination of too much power combined with a belief that the cars can drive themselves (which they can't). Too many people die, with Police now stating that the Tesla that drove over a motorbike was on FSD as the owner had also said right after the deadly crash.
When is NHTSA finally reacting to all these accidents and stop the faulty beta software FSD from being used by anyone else than specifically trained engineers from Tesla for test purposes until it's ready to be launched?
