$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$  i honestly missed this opputunity, didn't realize smci is going to go so high, i thought since the board was comsidered untrustworthy big buyers would start selling and the orice will go down, but wow they're still holding the stocks, i didn't expect that at all tbh, the business is good but the transparency is carcked which led me to think the stock will even fall before anither chance to buy, I thought that the stock was overvalued, and maybe i am right maybe it is still overvalued now and soon big buyers will start to sell

i'm still quite new to investing, i'm depending on the logical approach to determine a company's position and strength, yes i took the business model in consideration but i assumed transparency concerns would cause an issue and make holding the stock a risk

Not sure why fundamentals are being brought up now, if you did your analysis, you would have probably calculated the intrisic value of SMCI and found your answer of the stock being undervalued.

You also would have seen that the short ratio is 0.81, despite market having a bearish sentiment

Technically, audit results are part of fundamentals when it comes to analysis.

Personally, I see it more as a guide rather than a clear indicator of a company performing or not.

In the case of SMCI, the drop in share price in regards to the audit was definitely maginified by shorters like Heidenburg.

After the findings were already cleared and that there was no signs of fraud, the delisting from NASDAQ was the next best thing.

so, should is the audit thing be part of the fundamentals or no? or is it kinda of a great area between fundamental and non fundemental

Financial audit problems happen to many companies- Tesla, IBM, Wells Fargo, Boeing, GE, GM, HP, META, Alibaba and that’s just to name a few.

It’s better to look at the company’s technology and see how it plays in the industry.

Shorts will always sieze the opportunity of bad news to drive prices down, delisting from NASDAQ doesn’t mean game over for a stock.

I mean look at Dell, they were delisted from the stock exchange back in 2013, that’s way worse that beingn removed from NASDAQ
