   •   A Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 crash in South Korea claimed the lives of 179 out of 181 onboard. Investigators are exploring a possible bird strike and landing gear malfunction.

   •   A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 737-800 experienced a runway excursion in Norway due to hydraulic failure, but all 182 passengers and crew survived.

   •   An Air Canada Express Dash 8-400 scraped its wing on landing, leading to a fire and minor injuries among 73 passengers.

These details are still under investigation, and it’s too early to conclude causes, though the implications for Boeing could be severe.
