Movers and Shakers: Who's Rising, Who's Diving?
During the busy earnings season, it's easy to be drawn to some big names. However, some lesser-known small companies can also become impossible to ignore during this period. Last week, there was ROOT, which surged 68% in a day, Reddit jumping 40%, and SMCI plummeting 40%. Which stocks with significant gains or drops have you noticed? Join the discussion!

Don't bet on options with short expiry dates! The little time decay can nibble away at your option value quickly. Just like this weekend, 35.3% of those 91cts disappeared into thin air. That little theta of -0.161 per day is slowly munching away at your option price, even without making a trade!

Congrats on making a bold bet against the odds for soundhound option! The profits could be sweet, but watch out—volatility might not always play nice. Betting on options with a short expiry date can be super risky, so tread carefully!

Yeah, I’m hearing ya boss 💯

Only problem in doing as I would most likely do is the $$ cost of increasing the timeframe and the lack of slush funds to accommodate or justify it

It’s the rock and hard place call so just need to keep playing the hard and fast game and hope not to get liquidated on last day option screamers as I’ve been done before ☠️

Never easy, but enjoying the challenge and has been a good learning curve, albeit a pricey one but glad to have lived it now and ready to make amends once I have a bigger budget to play with in a couple of months once another investment has reached its maturity - gotta live in hope that the grafting will pay dividends in the long run 🍻🤙

Theta is the sneaky little culprit! It quietly chips away at your option's value day by day. To outsmart it, give yourself some breathing room—go for options with at least 2 to 3 months to expiration instead of just a few weeks!

I’m hearing ya bruv - I brought some $Duck options expiring on the 17th Jan and this was just before Christmas - Trading at ~$108 at the time so I bought three $115 Calls and a $100 Put sweeper - cost was about $50-$55 per shot

Two days later without the share price moving more than a $ each way🤳
