Pop Mart has indeed been making waves, with its collectibles like Labubu and Molly becoming cultural icons, especially among Gen Z. These characters, with their unique designs and the thrill of blind box unboxing, have captured the hearts of young collectors worldwide. Labubu, for instance, has gained popularity partly due to endorsements by celebrities like BLACKPINK's Lisa.


Pop Mart's strategy of creating trademarkable characters like Molly and Labubu has been a cornerstone of its success. The company has leveraged its proprietary designs to foster consumer loyalty and elevate its brand identity.


I will not jump on this as I am not a fan of collectibles. I prefer buying the stock of pop mart and Moutai than to buy the products as there is no storage concerns for me and I feel that there is higher probability of me gaining a profit by trading the stock than the product.
