$Qifu Technology(QFIN)$ ame in solid for Q1, revenue slightly beat, double-digit growth is back, and referral fees surged 83%, which is impressive. Profit beat guidance too, though Q2 outlook is a bit softer and recent quarters have seen flat QoQ profit. But what really stands out is the buyback,$450M authorized, $178M already used in H1. They’re on track to use it all this year, cutting 5-10% of share count annually. Valuation? Around 5–5.5x full-year non-GAAP earnings. That’s pretty cheap given how steady it is.
Still the most institutionally held and liquid name in the fintech space. If the big brother QFIN holds the line, the rest of the sector gets a shot too.
