$Microsoft(MSFT)$ last 1 year return for msrp is 7.7% , did bank pay you more than that ? ytd gain is 9.4% & 3 year return is 159 % way more than your bank , just remember big ship moves slowly and it's heading in the right direction, this is not for the day traders and should keep it at least 5 - 6 years then complain !
