根據《路透社》報道，原本有意收購TikTok美國業務的黑石集團將會退出收購，反映有關收購行動的複雜性和不確定性。
美國國會在2024年3月通過一項法案，以國家安全為由，要求在一定時間內，TikTok要從母公司字節跳動剝離，否則將會面臨禁制。但特朗普上任後，已經多次延長「TikTok不賣即禁」的寬限期，從而推動美國投資者收購TikTok的美國業務，最新限期延至9月17日，並於早前宣稱已經找到買家。
但根據媒體報道，原本黑石集團一直積極參與TikTok，為市傳收購的財團成員之一，但據悉集團已經決定，將可能獲得的TikTok美國股權轉讓給其他投資者，包括甲骨文、風險投資公司Andreessen Horowitz和增長型股權投資公司General Atlantic等，意味黑石集團將無意成為TikTok美國業務的股東。
報道指出，黑石集團的退出反映交易的複雜性，TikTok的交易早已成為特朗普與中國貿易談判的一部份。字節跳動在今年初宣佈有意將美國業務分拆為新的美國公司，但由於特朗普突然對中國加徵關稅，中國宣佈不會批准有關交易，而令交易陷於僵局。
TikTok母公司字節跳動正在尋求不同的方案，但由於交易的複雜性，將會影響投資人的意願。
