Option Strategies: SOFI, TSM& MU

Selling For Premium
09-23

1.

Trade idea on $Micron Technology(MU)$

Earnings date: Sept 23 after market close

Expected move: 10%

Trade: Sell-to-open cash-secured puts, Sept 26 expiry, strike in the 125-135 range. Target the 120 strike for a more conservative trade.

Strong volume support and point-of-control at the 125 level. Not much volume resistance above spot price. Be conservative if writing a naked call (240 strike).

2.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ making moves today (as are many semi-conductor stocks). Decided to roll covered calls (for net credit) on some of our position.

From $280 strike up to $300 strike and out to December. Will roll strike and expiration date back down if TSM rolls over from here.

3.

Got these $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ cash-secured puts in play. Am thinking of moving up one of the positions to the $40 put strike (making the trade an aggressive ITM put, essentially creating a synthetic long call).

Do it or don't do it ??? 🤔
