  I have 50 buy call option contracts. I guess these are worth nothing also since value is now 0. This is crazy!

  Can I check if your shares are sold or the trade is reverse and reduced holdings intact? Now broker is saying they will cover the short sell but all my shares are sold at a loss. The broker confirmed that there was no stock merger and I have the available holdings to sell. Now they are saying I sold all my reduced shares at a low price yesterday, if I was given the correct information, I would not have sold yesterday. Today price is higher than yesterday. Any advice?

    The corporate action on WOLF has been completed, and your previous trade will not result in any short-selling obligations. The holding shown as 977ESC029 represents the delisted old WOLF shares, pending updates/announcements by the listed company for further action.

    The thing is I call the broker before I did the sell to confirm I have the number of shares. Now this broker just cover the short sell and sold all my shares. I could have recover a bit from yday price cos today price is higher!

    yeah I still have it. My whole trade was reversed. At first I received 48k profits, then Tiger took away my 48k and replaced with 25 shares at lower value.

    I think if i had shorted accidentally, they would not have took away the 48k. Basically Tiger bought it back (covered the short) automatically.

    Hi Mktrader, but you still have your 25 shares right? My holdings are all gone, assumed to have sold yesterday at $14. I specifically called my broker to confirm I am not short selling. Now I don’t have any stocks holdings at all

  I just check that you oversold your shares, might be big losses for you. you can find out more from their online agent.

  Any update ? Did the broker buy at high price back thr short sell and in a big loss? Or they absorb it?

    according to customer service, there is no short position in my account. It shows that the broker had automatically reversed my profitable trade. I guess that means it will resolve without a short.

  update, Tiger withdraw and cancelled my sale. my current position is actually a loss. Talk about roller coaster night.

  Tiger agent said they are pending cooperate action and update from custodian.

    I don't think so. Lesson learned, don't play bankruptcy stocks. it is basically gambling and the odds are worse than blackjack
