$Nike(NKE)$  Nike posted a triple earnings beat (Sales, Revenue & EPS) on Tuesday after the markets closed.

Despite facing an increased headwind from the impact of tariffs (initial estimates were US$1 billion, had since been revised to US$1.5 billion), coupled with a declining business in China (revenue down 10%), its share price proceed to rise over 4% in post-market trading.

I personally entered the trade on Monday, with an expectation of an earnings beat, and have just sold in post-market, realising about 4% in profits overnight.

Nike Reports Quarterly Revenue Surprise
CEO Hill's turnaround effort is bearing fruit as Nike reported a surprise first-quarter revenue growth and a profit beat, rebuilding its position among wholesalers. The company's stock price rose about 3%, and its market share was affected by competitors. It cooperated with Kim Kardashian to launch a women's sports and leisure series. Inventory reduction efforts paid off, but higher North American tariffs affected product costs.
