SoFi's Blockchain-Powered International Money Transfer Service Launch

SoFi partners with Lightspark to introduce a blockchain-powered remittances service, enabling real-time conversion of U.S. dollars to Bitcoin for cross-border transfers. The service will initially be available in Mexico and later expand to other countries. This move marks SoFi's reentry into the world of cryptocurrency after facing setbacks in 2023. The fintech aims to integrate the service into its app later this year, offering seamless international money transfers.
