Singapore stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the Straits Times Index rising 0.48%. Keppel REIT and Golden Agri-Resources gained about 2%, while iFast, Keppel Infrastructure Trust, and DBS rose about 1%. First REIT fell about 2%.
Among individual stocks, Cordlife submitted its response to MOH regarding the proposed suspension of its services; Seatrium secured S$170 million in repair and upgrade contracts; First REIT extended a hospital lease for six months; CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust reported a 1.6% YoY increase in Q3 NPI to S$294.4 million; Keppel Infrastructure Trust's distributable income surged 59.2% in the first nine months; Keppel Pacific Oak US REIT saw a 14.8% decline in Q3 distributable income.
Local news included PM Wong urging RCEP members to strengthen and expand the trade pact; shophouse sales rebounded in Q3 amid lower financing costs; and GIC plans to sell at least US$1 billion in private equity fund stakes via the secondaries market.
