1. Keep up with R&D, aka have similar budgets (>$1B per year)
2. Have similar marketing and sales power (1 tweet = 220M followers)
3. Have direct line to US, Chinese and European heads of state and can influence national security policy
4. Have leverage over vast global supply chains
5. Have access and control over a leading frontier AI model
6. Can pull the world's best engineering and AI talent easily
7. Are sufficiently advanced in humanoids as of today
8. Have a proven track record in rapidly inventing and implementing earth-scale economies and business models
That narrows the actual competitors down quite a bit.
