Netflix All-Cash Offer? Strategic Move Or Value Risk?
Netflix have fallen about 15% since announcing its proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, as deal uncertainty weighs on sentiment. Reports suggest Netflix is now considering revising the terms—potentially shifting to an all-cash offer—to speed up the transaction. Under the original proposal, WBD shareholders would receive $23.25 in cash plus Netflix stock. The deal has faced resistance from Paramount Skydance, which has launched a hostile bid for WBD. Is market overpricing the risks of Netflix’s WBD acquisition? Would an all-cash deal improve execution certainty?
