I participated in the $CapLand Ascendas REIT(A17U.SI)$ preferential offering. I was entitled to 36 shares initially, but I submitted an oversubscription request for 1,000 shares via Tiger Brokers. In the end, I was allocated 500 shares in total. I paid SGD 1,090 for 494 shares at SGD 2.35 each.
I am pleased that Tiger Brokers handled the process smoothly. I was initially worried that the allocation might be messy since the shares are held in custody by the broker. However, the final outcome was fair and reasonable, and closely matched the AI calculation I had done.
