$Space Explo – Watching, Not Chasing

The $SPCX$ IPO is getting a lot of attention, and I can see why. It's the biggest IPO ever, and anything involving Elon Musk tends to get people excited.

As a fairly average investor, I'm interested, but I'm not rushing in on day one.

What stands out to me is that a lot of the valuation seems to be based on future AI growth rather than the space business itself. If that growth happens, it could be a great investment. If it doesn't, the valuation looks pretty hard to justify.

For now, I'd rather watch a few earnings reports and see how the AI side of the business develops before deciding whether to invest.

I've learnt the hard way that buying into hype without doing enough research doesn't always end well, so I'm trying to be a bit more patient these days.

My view: Great company, interesting future, but I'll be watching from the sidelines before jumping in.

SpaceX IPO Set to Drain Liquidity: Will Pricing Trigger a Rebound?
SpaceX is expected to price its IPO this Friday, and markets widely believe the landmark offering has already drained hundreds of billions in liquidity. Investors rotated capital into the IPO, triggering passive de-risking across growth assets; once the deal prices and liquidity is released, oversold sectors could see a sharp relief rally. Wall Street is split on whether to subscribe at IPO or wait for post-listing stability. Will you position ahead of the liquidity unlock, or wait for the dust to settle?
