$Nokia Oyj(NOK)$  So, global radio sites are estimated to be around 7 million, with 500k in the US alone. Nokia likely serves about 20-30% of the worldwide system. That means Nokia equipment could be deployed in over 2 million locations. Now think about what AI RAN means for this ecosystem. Why did NVIDIA seek such an active partnership here? It seems the idea of having two million miniature AI compute centers across the globe would be a perfect way for Nvidia to sustain new demand for their products beyond the initial hyperscaler boom. So what does this mean for Nokia? I see two million projects needing their proprietary optical equipment, proprietary software, and proprietary radios. This package will be the easiest sale to providers when they hear about the 80%+ efficiency increases and the chance to really squeeze the juice from the Edge compute advantage over traditional data centers. Everything Nokia is doing seems extremely intentional and connected... in my view.
