$Oracle(ORCL)$ TikTok Shop is projected to capture around 10% of the US retail market by 2028, up from just 1% currently, driven by how fast it's been growing. Oracle holds a 15% stake in TikTok US, and TikTok runs on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) as its underlying infra. Right now, Oracle attributes about 5% of its total revenue to TikTok operations, which includes their share of product revenue plus cloud hosting costs. Not sure about the math, but if TikTok Shop actually becomes a significant online retailer in the US, it could bring Oracle some solid revenue streams. Something to think about.
