Tesla is gearing up to reveal the game-changing 'flying' Roadster as early as this month, according to three people familiar with the matter 🔥

The launch event is slated to feature an elaborate stunt demo showcasing the flight capabilities of a limited-edition Roadster co-developed with Elon Musk's rocket company, SpaceX. The demonstration is expected to take place at SpaceX's test facility in McGregor, Texas 🔥

Just months ago, the planned showcase sounded straight out of a sci-fi movie, the three sources said: the vehicle would launch up a magnetized, roller-coaster-style ramp, drive inverted, right itself, and hover in midair. Musk previously stated that the car's flight capabilities stem from cold-gas thrusters developed alongside SpaceX 🔥

However, exactly what Tesla will showcase on stage remains up in the air. One person familiar with the situation said that after running a rehearsal for Musk, Tesla postponed the demo and dialed back several ambitious elements. Sources added that in recent weeks, Musk told employees the stunt is extremely tricky to pull off and could go sideways, but promised it will be a spectacular show nonetheless 🔥
