Merk and Moderna absolutely ripped on the news of discovery of an antibody that have a breakthrough in cancer therapy. Its been a long time since we last saw such a huge upside move for biotech companies. I myself is a Registered Nurse by training. So seeing a medical company doing well warms my heart. However, investors who are looking to ride this bullish wave be careful. What goes up usually will come down. When it’s going to retrace nobody knows. So set your goals and stick to the plan if you are trading these stocks.

Cancer Vaccine Valued at $9.2B Peak Sales — Can Moderna Hold a 14% Gain?
Moderna +14.36% to $158.83 Tuesday after Wolfe Research moved it from Underperform to Peer Perform — a 14% move on an upgrade to neutral, which shows how empty positioning was — modeling peak sales near $9.2bn for intismeran. Barclays raised its target to $125, still below the current price. The pricing has migrated: the first 176.97% was short covering, this leg prices annual revenue potential. Against it: full data unpublished, peak sales are model assumptions not orders, LTM revenue $2.23bn and down 27.6%. Build on the $9.2bn thesis, rotate to Merck, or wait for the data?

    MRNA clearing the long-term trend line on volume matters more here, and weekly RSI still does not look stretched. Biotech momentum finally has teeth 👀

    MRK feels stretched after this pop. Has anyone seen a solid model on the antibody stage and actual addressable market yet?

      They have been implementing this antibody treatment as a cancer treatment to prevent remissions post op. So to answer your question yes it has an actual addressable market, which is preventing cancer remission. It is a rather huge market too.
