🔥Foldable iPhone Arrives! Can Apple’s Event Move the Stock Price?

Apple has officially announced its fall launch event for Wednesday, September 9 (US Eastern Time) at its California headquarters, themed “Surprise and shine”. The event will also stream live online. $苹果(AAPL)$

This event carries special significance: it marks John Ternus’ first major product launch as CEO. Ternus was a key driving force behind the foldable iPhone project, and this gathering formally kicks off the Ternus era at Apple.

The biggest highlight is Apple’s first‑ever foldable iPhone, entering a foldable‑phone market currently dominated by Samsung. This foldable represents arguably the biggest physical redesign in iPhone history. Roughly the size of a standard passport, it opens up to a screen close to a small iPad.

Apple is also set to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro / 18 Pro Max, with upgraded chips, battery life and camera systems. The larger model will feature a mechanical aperture.

I think the foldable lands fine because Apple’s ecosystem and hardware-software integration travel way better than Samsung’s. One-day reactions are noise to me

For a company as mature as Apple, one or two product launch events really don’t have much impact on its stock price.
