$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ I pulled together the strongest recent SMCI data we have as of August 27, 2026. I can't independently verify newer filings or news right now since web search is disabled, so this is based on the most recent data available to me.
The valuation disconnect on SMCI is getting hard to ignore.
FY26 revenue came in at $39.1B, up from $22.0B. Q4 revenue was $11.1B, with net income around $1.18B. Non-GAAP EPS for Q4 was $1.70 versus $0.41 a year ago. Gross margin improved to 17.6% from 9.6%. They also have $60B+ in new orders and a record year-end backlog.
Guidance for FY27 is $65B–$72B in revenue, with Q1 FY27 guided at $14.5B–$15.5B.
Meanwhile, SMCI has been trading around roughly 8.6x forward earnings, compared with about 24x for Dell. At 25x on ~$3.44 EPS, that points to around $86 per share.
The demand side keeps strengthening too. NVIDIA just posted massive AI and data center growth, and Supermicro remains positioned across both NVIDIA and AMD platforms, with rack-scale AI systems, networking, storage, and direct-liquid cooling.
There's also the Cisco Secure AI Factory relationship, next-gen Blackwell/GB300 platforms, and significant AI infrastructure spending still ahead.
The market is pricing Supermicro as if growth is disappearing, while the numbers suggest the opposite. $39B moving toward $65B–$72B revenue guidance, $60B+ in orders, record backlog, and improving margins.
Execution is the catalyst here. The rerating hasn't happened yet, and that's exactly why I'm bullish.
