$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$  AMD and IBM took quantum leaps on Friday. Shares in both companies jumped to record highs after Reuters reported that IBM has found it could run a key quantum computing error-correcting algorithm on an easy-to-get and reasonably priced chip made by AMD. History will repeat, at least that's the view worth keeping in mind.
