I am pretty sure a handful of people have traded TSLA based on its cylical event yesterday, announcement of its cybercab roll out in Austin, Texas. However, do align your rationale and conviction accordingly. You are trading based on a single cylical move, and not based on a mid - long term outlook, or taking into account the intrinsic value of TSLA. 

I do not condone or disagree with trading during a cylical event, but you have to make your reasons of entry clear so that it is not conluded with other belief systems u have. No smoke and mirrors.[Observation]

45 Cybercabs on the Road — Enough to Justify a $1.49 Trillion Autonomy Narrative?
Tesla rose 5.42%, then flat after hours: the session priced the launch, the after-hours the reality. Cybercab began carrying passengers in Austin with no wheel or pedals, invite-only, 45 cars; regulators opened a safety review. Waymo opened paid service in three cities the same day. Tesla is ~$1.49tn at ~350x, down 16% YTD, on 45 cars of proof. Bulls: demo-to-passengers is the threshold, owner-operators scale it without capex. Bears: 45 is nowhere near profitable, and a formal probe takes the timeline out of Tesla's hands. Tesla on miles driven, Waymo on paid cities, or wait on the regulator?

    Event trades and long term conviction are two different buckets though. Cybercab rollout can move sentiment hard on its own, and TSLA always trades the story before the numbers lol

      Its true, agreed. Similar to AAPL when they have product announcement. U just further emphasize the importance of a clear rationale for the trade u make.
