Evercore ISI took Dell Technologies off its Tactical Outperform list after the strong July-quarter results and higher guidance, but the firm is keeping its bullish long-term view intact. Dell stays a top pick there with an Outperform rating and a $575 price target.

Revenue came in at $47 billion with EPS of $7.04, well ahead of the $44.9 billion and $4.91 estimates. Revenue was up 58% year over year, helped by a 122% jump in traditional servers and networking, 100% growth in AI servers, 26% growth in storage, and 20% growth in CSG.

AI server revenue hit $16.4 billion, and AI server orders climbed to $61 billion, pushing the AI backlog to roughly $95 billion and giving better visibility into future growth. Evercore noted the results show demand broadening beyond cloud AI infrastructure into both traditional and AI enterprise deployments.
