Nasdaq-100 Index

The tech-heavy $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ reached a new record high on Tuesday (22 September), as lower oil prices and optimism surrounding AI developments supported gains in technology stocks.

The Nasdaq-100 has rallied around +6% in the past 5 trading days since the Fed announced its interest rate decision last week, lifting the Nasdaq 7x Long DLC (MFVW) by around +48%, while the Nasdaq 7x Short DLC (W5BW) declined by around -37% in the same period.

Sandisk and Micron

Among DLC-covered underlyings, chip stocks $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ and $Micron Technology(MU)$ were the top performers with gains of around +24% and +18% respectively in the last 5 trading days.

Amplifying the move, the Sandisk 3x Long DLC (ZIPW) gained around +80%, while the Sandisk 3x Short DLC (NNSW) fell by around -55%.

Meanwhile, the Micron 3x Long DLC (44BW) gained around +61%, with the Micron 3x Short DLC (1J9W) fell by around -43%.

Investors who expect the positive momentum to continue may consider 3x/5x Long DLCs on selected U.S. underlyings. Conversely, investors anticipating a reversal or market pullback may consider 3x/5x Short DLCs for inverse exposure.

Nasdaq Hits Record High — But How Many Stocks Are Actually Driving It?
QQQ rose 0.81% to $747.46 Tuesday and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.45% to 27,244.28, a record and its fourth straight gain. The other two didn't follow: the S&P 500 closed at 7,764.64, off 0.06 points, and the Dow fell 0.36% to 51,863.70. A session earlier all three rose together — Nasdaq +2.3%, Dow +0.7% — and only the size differed. The lift came from the same names: memory led, and the Muse-linked stocks kept running. Bulls say the money hasn't left, it has concentrated into the AI line; bears say the breadth behind the record is thinning. Record Nasdaq, lower Dow — which would you trust?
