As a newbie investor 9 years ago. I assumed as long as I held my stocks, it would be profitable. I also assumed I was unique and my buys were my trophies. 


As time past, I realized I cannot control my emotions. I sold because news stated bad news, just to realise they were bias sources. I held my counters for prolonged period of time and finally let the company fold and money went to zero. 


As of today, I set my goal, I will not sell until I attain 4 to 6 mil SGD. If I sell, that will be because the fundamental failed. I will pump my CPF to ERS and spend the rest of my money. What have you learnt from your investing journey? What is yourmoney plan?
