Australian Gold and Copper has confirmed broad zinc-rich mineralisation with consistent gold across multiple drill holes at the Northern Evergreen prospect.
The news follows a 21-hole reverse circulation drilling programme testing shallow extensions of drill hole 26DDBR017.
Australian Gold and Copper stated the ongoing programme aims to expand its mineral footprint across the South Cobar Basin.

Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) has intersected broad zinc-rich mineralisation carrying consistent gold grades across multiple drill holes at its Northern Evergreen deposit.

The discovery follows earlier step-out drilling at the site, which had previously returned shallow high-grade intercepts.

"The width of these strong zinc and gold results is very pleasing. The Evergreen system is open in all directions, and we continue to delineate new mineralised structures to the west," said Australian Gold and Copper Managing Director Glen Diemar.

The broader 21-hole reverse circulation programme was designed to test extensions to the shallow discovery.

The company reported that its latest exploration effort continues to evaluate high-grade targets across the prospect.

Following the announcement, the Australian Gold and Copper share price was unchanged at $0.13.

Australian Gold and Copper holds a 2,600km2 landholding in the South Cobar Basin of New South Wales.

The business hosts an initial 38.5Moz AgEq resource at its Achilles discovery, alongside the recently acquired Junee Gold Project.
