$B VERTICAL 261016 PUT 38.0/PUT 37.0$ 1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now?
Barrick's momentum has clearly cooled from its August peak. The stock is in a short-term volatile uptrend but a medium-term downtrend, having pulled back ~18% from its 2026-08-25 high of $49.14.
2️⃣ What’s my plan from here?
The pullback is driven mainly by gold-price swings and Fed rate expectations rather than company-specific deterioration — fundamentals (low P/E, high ROE) and analyst consensus remain constructive, but the near-term direction hinges on the gold price.
