I’d take the index here. The big names may keep leading, but the concentration adds risk. Owning the index gives exposure to the leaders while still leaving room to benefit if market breadth improves
Musk Confirms Terafab Talking to TSMC; Why Is Intel the Lone Decliner?
TSMC rose 2.75% Monday to a record $485.80 after Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed early Terafab talks — with TSMC. Intel fell 2.63% to $116.19, the day's clear semiconductor laggard: it had been the only publicly named foundry partner in Musk's chip project, and the talks read as pressure on that spot. SpaceX rose 7.63% to $171.09 on the same news. Bulls say leading-edge capacity runs through TSMC whoever Terafab lands with, so it collects either way; bears say no sum, capacity or timeline has been disclosed — a confirmation, not a contract. A landed order, or a headline running ahead?
