TSMC ($Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ ) closed the third quarter at NT$1,494.2bn based on the sum of its monthly sales, up 51% from a year ago.
September came in at NT$511.9bn, 0.6% below August's record NT$514.8bn but still up 54.6% on last September. Single months are lumpy, so the quarter is the cleaner read.
July and August alone nearly matched all of 3Q25. The AI build is showing up at the foundry: chips for data centers and high-end computing (TSMC's HPC platform) were already 66% of its sales last quarter, up from 60% a year earlier.
Year to date, sales are NT$3,898.7bn, up 41.1%.
