๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’ฐ How I Made US$504.50 Selling Covered Calls on TIGR!

๐ŸŽ‰ My Options Puppy Winning Trade!

I made US$504.50 in profit from my TIGR covered-call strategy! For me, selling covered calls is one way to generate additional income from shares I already own.

๐Ÿ“ˆ 1๏ธโƒฃ Why am I making this trade now?

When I own shares of a company, I can sell call options against those shares to collect premiums. In exchange, I agree to sell my shares at the strike price if the options are exercised.

๐Ÿ’ต The benefit is that I can earn premiums while waiting for the stock price to move. If TIGR stays below my call strike price of US$4 until expiration, the option may expire worthless, allowing me to keep the premium and potentially sell another call.

๐ŸŽฏ However, if TIGR rises above US$4, my shares may be called away at that price. I could miss out on further gains if the stock rallies significantly.

๐Ÿถ 2๏ธโƒฃ Whatโ€™s my plan from here?

I will continue monitoring TIGRโ€™s price movements, support and resistance levels, and market sentiment. If I still want to own the shares, I can consider selling another covered call with a suitable strike and expiration.

โš ๏ธ Covered calls are not risk-free. If TIGR falls sharply, the premium only provides a limited cushion against my losses.

๐Ÿ’ก My Options Puppy philosophy: I want my existing shares to work harder for me by generating extra income, while staying disciplined about the risks.
