$NVDA 20261028 217.5 CALL$

Trading NVDA call options was a valuable learning experience. Although I expected the stock to move higher, the options did not perform as anticipated, and rolling positions to later expiries came with additional costs and realized losses. I learned that predicting the direction of a stock is only part of the equation; timing, strike price, expiry, and implied volatility also matter significantly. Options can move quickly, especially near expiry, so risk management and position sizing are essential. Going forward, I will focus on clearer entry and exit plans, avoid emotional decisions, and manage risk more carefully rather than trying to recover losses.

Direction was only half the trade here. Was the IV percentile still elevated when you rolled, or did vega just bleed faster than delta could help?
