$Marvell Technology(MRVL)$  The deal consideration is 410M MRVL shares, or 91M LITE shares at 4.5 MRVL each. At $160 per MRVL share, that works out to about $65.6B in current value. At the time of the announcement, the projected value was around $115B based on MRVL near $280, which was roughly where it traded when talks started.

If Murphy found a way to fast-track the closing, does this deal effectively come at a 45% discount to the pre-announcement value? That would be $65.5B versus $115B.

If my math checks out and they manage to compress the closing timeline, has this selloff basically handed MRVL a gift? Curious if anyone else sees it that way.
