Very hard to find a drug for a disease for which etiology is not/or very poorly understood. In 20 years only one new drug was FDA approved for Alzheimer, the recent one from Biogen (Aduhelm) and even this was not meet in without controversy regarding its efficacy. Unfortunately, Annovis Bio just one of so many failed attempts in treating Alzheimer.
