If my memory served me right, when CapitaLand and Ascendas merged, they had to merge their hospitality REITs too, where we saw Ascott Residence Trust paying about 10% premium for Ascendas Hospitality Trust.

A potential merger arbitrage play here in the next 6-12 months time.
