Trigger Warning - Meme Stock

Out of curiosity I searched mentions of AMC today and noticed that the overall sentiment was bearish - very bearish, which I expected. What I didn't expect that in the vast members I wouldn't find one thing to fit my confirmation bias.

I would genuinely appreciate a more seasoned investor's thoughts as to why AMC/GME is not a rock solid (inevitable?!) squeeze play. We know fundamentals aren't there.

I too, would also like to understand the mindset of those who think that the squeeze won't play out (pls support with factual articles/data please :) )

the smelly exploitation of loopholes by MM / HF. On top of that, they can only kick the can down the road for so long (since they are paying premiums on borrowed shares, and are bleeding everyday)

however, i would like to bet my money that squeeze will indeed play out based on the regulations that have been filed at breakneck speeds, worldwide coverage and traction regarding (cont)

on the other hand, the squeeze may not play out because of the numerous methods that market makers / hedge funds employ to kick the can down the road (which we have observed many time past few weeks)

It's definitely a squeeze play based on factual numbers/data like FTDs, utilisation rate, interest rate etc.
